Matthew A. Pring joined the practice in 2012 after serving as a Deputy District Attorney for 9 years. He has done a significant number of trials, both civil and criminal, including the highest levels of felonies. He is a professionally trained mediator and has done numerous mediations for Weld County Small Claims courts. He has also served as court appointed counsel for parents in dependency and neglect cases, and has been practicing family law since beginning with this firm in Weld, Larimer, El Paso, Otero, Pueblo and Adams counties. Matthew has served on numerous boards, including the Weld County Bar Association, Joint Judicial Task Force, the Legal Aid Foundation, and the Weld County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. He was awarded the Prosecutor of the Year award in 2009 by the Colorado Welfare Fraud Counsel and the Andrew Borg award in 2015 by the Weld County Bar Association, an award given to an attorney in recognition of outstanding contributions to the representation and availability of legal services to indigent persons.

He strives to help his clients find the most effective and efficient solutions to the legal issues and challenges they face and makes sure they understand the process and the expectations of the legal field.  He seeks to satisfy his clients by communicating promptly and effectively, by developing appropriate goals and strategies, and by pursuing those goals in a professional manner.

When away from the office, Matthew and his wife are actively involved in their community serving on a number of non-profit boards, partaking in community activities, and volunteering for community improvement projects.  His is a new father who hopes to share with his son his love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and actively giving back to their community and fellow people in an ethical and fair manner.
