Biography

Mackenzie’s practice focuses on domestic relations law, adoption law, estate planning, and small business formation, including nonprofits. She strives to establish a strong relationship with her clients to make them feel comfortable and informed during difficult or confusing times in their lives. Mackenzie understands the sensitive nature of her family law cases and wants her clients to feel confident in her ability to resolve disputes without adding any additional and unwarranted conflict.

Before joining the firm, Mackenzie clerked for the Honorable Judge Todd Taylor in the 19th Judicial District of Colorado where she worked on a wide variety of civil litigation, domestic relations, and water cases. In law school, Mackenzie worked in the nationally ranked Community and Economic Development Clinic providing legal advice to small businesses and nonprofits who benefited the Denver area. From her time in the clinic, Mackenzie has experience forming small businesses, drafting contracts, and applying for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Mackenzie is passionate about providing personable business advice that will benefit the developing area of Greeley.

In her spare time, Mackenzie enjoys doing yoga, playing with her dogs, and cheering on the UNC Bears, where her husband is a coach.
